Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the Grant-Humphreys Mansion, a Historical landmark in the state of Colorado.
The ceremony will promptly begin at 7:00 PM followed by a short cocktail hour. A heavy hors d’oeuvres dinner will begin approximately 8:30 PM, followed by the toast, cake cutting, and 1st dance. Open dancing for the evening will kickoff around 10:00 PM, with the wedding reception ending at 12:00 AM.
Flying To Denver
You’ll be flying into Denver International Airport (DIA), which is approximately 30 minutes east of downtown Denver.
We recommend flying in on Thursday and departing on either Saturday or Sunday, depending on your schedule. However, take advantage of the Mile High City and go site seeing. There are many attractions Denver has to offer.
Accommodation
We have worked out a discounted rate with both The Magnolia and The Denver Marriott City Center, located in the heart of downtown Denver. Simply mention the Lozano/Schaiberger Wedding, and they will offer you a discounted rate. Both locations will offer a deep discount with rooms starting at $129/night. We will be staying at The Magnolia, but both hotels are within a block of each other.

Getting around Denver
You can do a few things to get around Denver.
- Rent a car from a national rental company at the airport. This will provide the most convenience for getting around Denver. And, if you plan on going site seeing, this will allow you easy transportation.
- Take a shuttle from DIA to the hotel. There are several shuttle companies that provide transportation from the airport to practically any major hotel in Denver. Click here to get a list.
- Take a Cab! This may be the easiest for those of you not familiar with Denver. There are many cab companies available in Denver, with easy to remember phone numbers! (303) 333-3333 (Metro Taxi), (303) 922-2222 (Union Taxi), or (303) 777-7777 (Yellow Cab)
The hotels are located about a 10 minute drive to the wedding ceremony & reception! Here’s a link with directions – Click Here.
Sightseeing In Denver
While you’re here, you might as well do some sightseeing and see what Denver has to offer.
Colorado is known for their microbrews, so if you are a beer fanatic, try several of our local brews, you won’t be disappointed. There are many nice Wine Bars and great restaurants that offer a variety of food! You can always take a day or two to visit the awesome Rocky Mountains or go see the world famous Red Rocks Ampitheater. The Art Museum is almost always offering special events or collections. If shopping and sight seeing is what you’re looking for, you have many options here in Denver.
Cherry Creek
Cherry Creek Mall — This is an upscale mall that has traditional indoor retail stores with name brand products, as well as boutique style shops outside that go north a few blocks.
While you’re in Cherry Creek get some lunch at the Cherry Cricket, where their burgers are considered some of the best in Denver.
Also, a great breakfast/brunch restaurant is Syrup, located in the outdoor Cherry Creek shops.
Elway’s is also a popular upscale restaurant started by the one and only John Elway — a Denver Bronco hero and legend.
Downtown Denver
Denver isn’t your metropolis such as New York, Chicago, or LA — but we Denver-ites do know how to live it up.
Feel free to walk up and down 16th Street Mall, or simply take the free shuttle. You can’t miss it. There is a shuttle that stops at every street on 16th Street.
16th Street Mall also has a movie theater, Lucky Strikes (bowling), Jazz @ Jacks (live Jazz music), and all sorts of restaurants and shops.
If you want some time to get away from the crowd and maybe dive into a book, go to the famous Tattered Cover — Denver’s version of Barnes and Nobles. Keep in mind though, Denver residents like to keep it local!
If you’re in the mood to walk around a garden and enjoy the brisk Fall air of the Rocky Mountains go to the Denver Botanic Gardens, just a few blocks away from the Magnolia Hotel and Denver Marriott.
You could also walk over to Coors Field, where the Colorado Rockies play baseball from April to October. Unfortunately the field will be closed by then, but it’s always nice to see it from the outside.
If you’re into micro brew beers, then one block over from Coors Field is the Breckenridge Brewery and Restaurant. They make their own beer there, and have some amazing meals.

Denver is also known for it’s great Mexican Food Restaurants. The place that Susan and I truly enjoy going to is D’Corazon Mexican Restaurant. This was where Susan and I went on our 2nd date.
